Hot Apple Pie

10 parts apple cider (5 oz.)
2 tsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
3 whole cloves
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Whipped cream, for garnish
Cinnamon stick, for garnish

Combine apple cider, maple syrup, lemon juice and spices in a saucepan over medium heat until mixture is well-heated but not boiling. Pour into a warmed mug and top with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with the cinnamon stick. Serves one.
